If you caught our last show, you no doubt heard the gifted keyboardist, Ron Phillips-Hill.

We’re pleased as we can be to announce that our new keyboard player is the great Ron-Phillips Hill.  Ron has played Branson for years and has a reputation as one of the finest keyboard players around.  He’s also a very successful solo artist.  Check out his latest song, Daddies Don’t Let Go!

Check out more of Ron’s music at his website: http://www.ronphillipshill.com

This weekend, we took a trip to St. Louis, Mo and played a show at Club Rock.  Thanks, St. Louis!  This was what we signed up for.  The club lived up to it’s name and was rockin’ like few we’ve ever seen.  We’re happy to report that we have two more shows scheduled and we’ll be back in May and June!

Thanks to all who attended our New Years Eve night show in St. Louis.  It was a huge success, with over 3000 people coming out to the club that evening.  It was a funky good time for all!  We’ll be making another trip to St. Louis this June.  Check out our calendar for updated venue information.  We’ll also have pics up of the St. Louis show soon.  Have a great 2009!

About the Band:

It's all about the funk.. that darn syncopation and feverish snare. You've got the New Orleans cats like The Meters or the Texan funk of Mickey And The Soul Generation. One might suspect that those glory days - the late 60s to mid 70s - are over, preserved through rabid 45 collectors and awesome re-issue labels. But there are contemporary funk bands that revel in producing music that sounds as if it's been dug up from the vaults of 1968. Whether it's through recording techniques or playing styles, bands like Funk Radio Machine resurrect that funk.

Are you ready for some Earth Wind & Fire, KC & the Sunshine Band, Sly & The Family Stone, The Commodores and all the great hits you used to love to dance to? Funk Radio Machine is a Springfield, Mo based band that provides the best in Funk Dance music. For over four years, the 8 member band has played all over Missouri and surrounding areas. Let Funk Radio Machine take your nightclub or special event to the next level of fun with their full horn section and lively dance tunes! The band is quickly gaining local and national attention for their talented cast of musicians and inspired live performances. Grab your friends, come out and join the fun!
